• Project information: the footage, files, links, notes, and creative direction you provide so we can edit your videos.
• Billing information: necessary to invoice and process payments. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor (Stripe) and are not stored on our servers.
• Account information: the access code and activity associated with your client portal.

Our hosting provider records standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site and portal running and secure. This marketing site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. If that ever changes, this section will be updated first.

We use the information we collect to:

• Deliver, edit, and manage your video production projects.
• Operate your client portal and track project status.
• Invoice you and process payments.
• Communicate with you about projects, updates, and support.
• Maintain the security and reliability of our services.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your footage or project files for anything other than delivering your work, unless you give us explicit permission (for example, to feature a finished edit in our portfolio).

We share information only with the service providers we rely on to run our business, such as payment processing (Stripe), file storage and delivery, and the infrastructure that hosts our website and portal. These providers may only use the information to perform services for us.

The footage and files you send us remain yours. We use them solely to produce the edits you request. On request, we’ll remove project files from active storage after a project is complete, subject to any backups and reasonable retention needed for support or legal reasons.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us at hello@lumavisuals.co. We’ll respond within a reasonable timeframe.

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data and limit access to it.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “last updated” date above. Significant changes will be communicated where appropriate.
